Photographer Björn Ceder lets the elements reign in this moody image of Tsingpu Yangzhou Retreat. Here, in the Jiangsu lake region, Ceder captures the contrasting textures of this lyrical concrete tale, as retold by Shanghainese architects, Neri & Hu, in a fresh take on traditional Chinese architecture. Also referred as ‘The Walled’, this once-abandoned warehouse-turned-guesthouse and art space is defined by the contemplative spaces created through a maze of walls and courtyards bathed by the sky’s natural light.

For our Art Print Series, we’ve joined forces with some of our favorite visual collaborators to raise 100% of the profits of the first 20 prints we sell to WeForest, an initiative we are passionate about. Building upon corporate and scientific partnerships, WeForest empowers communities to sustainably advance and implement innovative, high-standard, scalable, and lasting solutions to restore forest landscapes. We wholeheartedly support their goal to transform 250,000 hectares of forest landscape by 2021 via the restoration of 25,000 hectares of forests with an estimated 25 million trees.
